Hi. I was at your store on Market st. In Salem Oregon. One of your workers was very rude to me. Telling i couldn't charge my scooter for about 20 mins. I told her that was the only way i was to get home. I had about 20 blocks to go. She got really mean with me. I shop there a lot. Spend at least $200 there a month. It really upset me. I'm disabled and have to ride a scooter. Thank you

Combative, Dismissive Customer Service at Pharmacy on Chkalov in Vancouver, WA.

Thea at Fred Meyer on Chkalov in Vancouver, Washington, is one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. She was angry, combative, dismissive, and condescending. This is actually the second time I have experienced angry behavior from this pharmacy. It seems the team is stressed and short-staffed leading them to act out angrily toward customers. I will NEVER use this pharmacy again.

User's recommendation: Do not use the pharmacy at Chkalov. Save yourself the verbal abuse and go somewhere else. They are not the best priced pharmacy in town either.

Negative shopping experiences

Your shoreline WA store has a problem with homeless folk from the neighborhood. Lots of beggars in the parking lot, OK, no big deal. But there are drug deals going on and people fairly openly inject on store property. Today I was threatened with assault by a homeless man who had spread out his belongings on the mens room floor and was bathing in the sink. I am 66 years old and a longtime regular customer. Phoned the (rude) manager a few minutes later. She said, So? What do you want ME to do about it? I mentioned the drug activity in the parking lot. Same response: So? Call a cop. But I was trying to save her trouble by talking to store management instead. I have compassion for people who may be down on their luck, and Im not blaming Freds for the homeless problem, but when you see people washing dirty socks and underwear in the mens room sink, spitting on the sink and mirror, or sleeping on the floor (unmasked), things have gotten out of hand. Lets remember, were in the middle of a pandemic. Maybe hire security?

my grandsons notice that Fred Meyers of Ellensburg overcharge me 22.50 on four bath rugs I purchased .I told the manager I was going to get the word out his response to me was good luck with that.Smart *** Also the manager would not apologize

Gift cards scam

My Mom purchased 5 gift cards at Fred Meyer for the total of $600 on December 21, 2020 as a Christmas present for us. When we went to Fred Meyer to use it on December 26, all the cards have zero balance on them. We went to Customer Service to complain and all they did was given us a phone number to call to report the fraud. Their security system on the gift cards are compromised. Someone hacked the system to steal the serial number and pin in order to use the cards. Do yourself a favor and do not buy Fred Meyer gift card.

To inform anybody who will be trying to exchange anything over 49.99

I had bought a med size carhartt hoodie size m. I went back the following Friday to exchange for the proper size and also buy another item such as carthartt pants as i do every Friday. I did not have my receipt but i did have my rewards card which i used, beings the item was over 50.00 with tax i was told policy says i could not exchange that, at that point i asked to see the policy book which i was denied. I do understand the precautions the store takes because of thieves, however the employee i had purched from was working but manger said he cant do ask her, i asked for him to review cameras watching me purchase this but was also told he cant do that, i offered my rewards card to scan and cutomer service said that it did not show up on my card which i know it was scanned at time of purchase. Basically i want to just inform the public the lack of willingness to help me when i tried to exchange this item that fred meyer in garden city.
