Getting harassed by Lacey, WA police. It's about being in a park that is owned by Fred Meyer.

My fiancé and I are homeless and sit at that park during the day.

We sleep elsewhere, although we like to take naps there if need be. Permission we need.

Management lets employees be rude

Jessica is a barista at the Starbucks kiosk. in Fred Meyer on McGillivray In Vancouver WA Shes difficult to work with because you have to flatter her and give many compliments.

She told me that my tone was rude and abrupt and didnt want to sell me a drink. She was the only one working so I couldnt buy my Trenta cold brew. The couple behind me in line heard everything and told me that there was nothing wrong with my tone of voice and that Jessica was rude. They said that shes the only barista who is unpleasant.

She reminds them of the Soup Nazi on Seinfeld.

They said that they overheard the manager Chelsea saying that she was going to write up Jessica because she is getting tired of her. They said that a front end manager told them that the store manager will let Jessica not serve people that she doesnt like because its hard to find good employees.

3 people, writer & 2 witnesses have the same opinion and you think that there is nothing wrong with Jessica. Companies are already losing money because of inflation. I only shop here with a really good sale because there are lots of other businesses that value their customers.

I do instacart at fred meyers and have done over 100 orders there. A few months ago I came in to shop went through self check out.

The cashier stopp3d me when leaving saying I didn't scan an item. I showed receipt and it was confirmed I did scan. She did it again my next visit. Which made me ask for a supervisor.

The supervisor confirmed I did scan and apologized. Well the lady once again tried to say I didn't scan something this time very loud to where the other customers were staring at me. I told her this was the last time I'm filing a formal complaint. Her supervisor Javon(he is a twin) camr over I told him what happened he said we'll shop somewhere else then.

I said that 3as not going to happen and to train his employees. He said we'll you probably pn camera stealing anyways. So I filed complaint against them both
Today it was taken too far. I went to check out order and needed my screen cleared.

Javon comes over clearance it and says scan everything this time. I said I do everytime. He laughing and loud says nope we got you believe me. I told him show me where I'm stealing he told me to hurry up get out his store and gry a real job.

At this point I'm shaking pissed off arguing with not only him but his twin brother. They both continued to taunt me saying I need to shop else were thst I fit the thief type. I need to hurry up and stop coming in there store. They even ignored me when I needed screen cleared again.

Security standing there the whole time doing Nothing! He tells Javon o need help he said when he feels like helping me. They let my screen sit like that for 10min. Mind you I'm doing a order at the time.

So now I'm pissed and feel attacked by these two men who literally are preventing me from leaving by not clearing the screen for me to continue. Next thing I know I have 3 Security guards and two upper staff wanna bes. Telling me I'm banned from store I asked ehy for stealing? She said no it's not about stealing it's because your causing issue with staff.

I informed her no awareness that I was arguing with her employee for accusing me ot stealing telling me to get on with my self and yo get a real job. Javon said he NEVR accused Mr of stealing but I got it on camera! They said I was being 86d per director Andrew. Who was not there or even on shift.
I was escorted out the store couldn't complete my order and was totsl embarrassed.

They literally sat there attacking me at that checkout for 35min! I'm beyond pissed I need to know how to get them fired!!

They tried to embarrassed and belittle me and basically held me there to have to take the abuse. These two men need to be FIRED!

This is pretty standard at the Fred Meyers I've been to. Happened to me once in Eugene Oregon.

I paid for my things at electronics and on my way to exit in the apperal exit I opened and started eating a dinner roll I purchased. As I exited the uniformed "security" guard grabbed my arm then my cart and took my belongings away from me because he claimed I was stealing them. I started choking on the bread and was panicking because I literally couldn't breath. He laughed at me as I desperately looked for something to drink to get the bread unstuck...

I was crying because I had to go to electronics and he had to tell the idiot that yes id paid, and showed him my receipt. I had my receipt but he gave me no opportunity to show him before he started attacking me. Then the dumb pic came out and trespassed ME?! I was dumbfounded, demanded my belongings I BOUGHT back and left in tears.

Worst worst experience I've ever had.

I hate that store with a passion and do everything that comes along to remind people how *** they are to customers. I'm shaking just typing this.

Digital coupon discounts

I have been a customer of Fred Meyers on zTjpr in Spokane-since it opened-over 20 years sgo. I really liked how we used to get a coupon worth $40+ based on how much we spent-every quarter and the coupons that accompanied them.

Every penny went back into your store but it helped,zfinancially. Im glad we still get gas discounts.

I signed up for your digital program to get the discounts-and learned how to use it. I am retired living on Social Security. I have an IPhone 7-which worked fine until recently.

Now I keep getting notices I need to update the program. Ive tried but Im told my phone isnt powerful enough-needs to be 16,+ So now I cant get the discounts unless I can convince the counter clerk to use her phone-and they get in trouble if give discounts not showing in the system. Is there a way I can get those digital discounts? Its not fair.

Not everyone can afford newer phones. Especially that powerful bi just thought you should be notified of this problem vWhy have sales if ppl cant use them?

My mom is 91 and has Avery simple cell phone so she cant get the discounts either its NOT fair. Ive spent probably half a million dollars in your store over 20+ years.

User's recommendation: I feel like we were forced to learn how to get discounts by using our Iphones digitally-and they can be quite significant...so I learned...and now I can't get them because my phone isn't new enough...other stores are following their lead..it's not fair...I wish they would go back to the old fashioned coupons..at least it was fair....a lot of people who really benefit from the discounts can't get them-seems like a set up-I'd recommend complaining to Fred Meyers

Someone misinformed you or your research is wrong. The IPhone XR, September 2018 ( for reference iPhone 11, September 2019) and all models since are still up-to-date to have latest software and app versions.

You do not need the iPhone 16which was just released September 2024.

Half a million dollars in 20+ years? You spent an average of $1650/month for 25 years?

Disappointed. I was contacted about a change in bread they didn't have Franz WHITE 1906. So they were going to substitute it for WHITE Naked bread. But instead I get WHEAT Franz 1906. Why? Not happy

Horrible Pharmacy

New prescription same med but higher does told me my Dr said not to fill it, then insurance won't authorize until date on old prescription plays out then said come back but a week prior they said will have it filled next day, I've been given wrong medication that I've never had before, and when questioned will have a bad attitude, rude phone & customer service etiquette. They've violated many code of ethics for their field it's scary. I will be filing a formal complaint against them & advise everyone else do the same & maybe they'll get shut down & revamped with new employees.

I would call this a hate crime against humanity but I am not in charge unfortunately because your security guards and your pharmacy worker would be in jail for inhumane treatment of a very good friend and since when has being poor become a crime against humanity or an open invitation to bully and belittle someone. Because if thats the case Im getting all my friends and family to start picketing.

Because this is about example of rich people elite people thinking they are better than someone who has not been as fortunate as them and its disgusting and shameful. What is your policy on selling someone half the prescription now and then the other half when a person gets the rest of the money??

Especially when its a life or death situation? Please tell me that youre employees are not allowed to cuss out people and call them names because I have a home and youre pharmacist screaming at me calling me a homeless ***

I purchased raspberries today for about $5. I got home and it had mold in it.

One day later, the strawberries and blueberries. I purchased there started to get moldy.Do I have to go back and stand in the always - huge CS line??? I also know you usually have that area understaffed because you know people will often throw up their hands and take the loss. Very, very frustrating!

I would like you to return the $4.79 that I spent for the Driscoll moldy raspberries today. I was at the Renton Fred Meyers.

We have been shopping at Fred Meyers in Burlington, Washington, since we bought our house here in 2014. Recently, it appears that the store has declined in quality.

The produce never looks fresh, and they're always out of the items we need, which consequently forces us to shop at another store. There are never any carts available; they're always scattered throughout the parking lot. Furthermore, the store is messy. Pickup orders or delivery carts are always in the way, and the employees working with them are always rude, pushing us aside instead of helping.

If we ask for an item's location, they vaguely point in a direction instead of showing us the place. It feels as if customer service is no longer present!

Store policy

At 65 years old (I look my age), I have earned the right not to be carded for any age-related purchases. Asking a senior citizen for ID to buy Nyquil makes you look like fools.

Please realign your procedures to comply with reasonable reality. Until you do, you will not have my business.

Price of routine prescription drug.

My daughter picked up my generic Paxil CR 25 2/day.

Fred Meyer coupon on line says $17.56. So 30 days would be $35.12

However, she paid $104.03 and Medicare paid $255.46

Making a per pill cost of $5.99 instead of .58 cents

That is $359.49 That is an extreme profit.

Please do not insult me with the drug manufacturers charge excuse.

This is wrong and I have reported you. Please refrain for making up pharmacy losses on one individual, me!
